What was the ISCOM challenge?

In a school that trains future communicators, knowing how to convince or create is not enough. You also need to know Talk about yourself, to be part of a collective, to understand what we bring.

However, many students don't have the bearings or the words to Express their soft skills.

This is why ISCOM wanted to:

  • Suggest a reliable frame to identify human skills,
  • help its students prepare for internship and work-study interviews,
  • accompany them in a concrete awareness of their potential.

Why did you choose Rising Up?
“We wanted a tool that was credible, actionable, but also very accessible for students.
The Rising Up approach convinced us with its rigor, its dynamic format and its ease of use.”
Caroline, director of ISCOM Paris

ISCOM selected Rising Up for three fundamental reasons:

  • One neuroscience-based approach and the analysis of cognitive functioning,
  • The use of artificial intelligence to generate fine and personalized analyses,
  • A positioning radically different from traditional personality tests (MBTI type), often static and not adaptive.

Here, the test is scalable, interactive, and connected to a concrete development path, which makes it a useful tool over the long term.

How did the implementation go?

The program took place in three key stages:

1. Personalized assessment via the Soft Skills Scan

Each student completed a 45-minute test on THE LAB platform, based on:

  • one reference list of 25 key competencies,
  • Of immersive situations,
  • Of AI algorithms analyzing responses, without declarative bias.

Result: one clear and graphic report with performance, ease and development indicators.

2. Educational perspective

Group workshops were conducted to allow students to:

  • formulate their skills accurately,
  • make the link between their results and their professional project,
  • prepare a credible and impactful personal presentation for recruiters.

3. Access to a targeted training path

Each student was able to follow short and interactive modules, according to their areas of progress:

  • creativity, interpersonal communication, stress management, leadership, etc.
  • with video content, quizzes, challenges, self-reflections

What did the students go through?
“I understood that I was less patient than I thought I would be. And now I know that I can work on it.”
“It was a test like no other. It was clear, quick, and I came away with something useful for future interviews.”
“I went out with concrete words to talk about my human skills. That's what I was missing.”

Instead of a generic feedback, each student leaves with a targeted, mobilisable analysis in their resume, pitch or applications.

What did you learn from this challenge?
  • Students have a potential often underestimated, for lack of reading framework.
  • The program acts as a trigger for trust.
  • The results allow individualized support, but also a Overall reading of a promotion.
  • It is also a strategic tool for teaching teams : follow-up, orientation, differentiation.
